The details of Premier Institute of Law Enforcement Management and Administration Cut off points 2017 is very difficult to get even from the school. According to the school, on admission requirements are followed in admitting students into the University.
The PILEMA Cut off points are only used during academic years in which the number of qualified applicants far exceeds the number of vacant places available.

Below is the Premier Institute of Law Enforcement Management and Administration admission requirements

General Entry Requirements (Ghana)

1. PILEMA – UNISA Law Course

2. CERTIFICATE/ DIPLOMA/ DEGREE COURSES: 
Presently there are three pre-university certificates used for admission into Tertiary Institutions. These are The General certificate of Education (GCE) Ordinary (O) and Advanced (A) levels and the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examinations (SSSCE)
Level of Acceptable Passes for Undergraduate Admissions:
2.1 GCE Requirements “A” Level
(With or without Law Enforcement/Security Experience) must have credit passes in five (5) subjects including English language and Mathematics at “O” level and three (3) passes at the advanced level including at least one pass at grade D or better.

2.2 SSSCE Requirements
(with or without Law Enforcement/Security Experience) must have aggregate 24 or better in six subjects consisting of core English, Core Mathematics and another core subject and three (3) elective subjects.

2.3 3-year post Secondary Teacher’s Certificate Holder Entry Qualification
(with or without Law Enforcement/Security Experience) with credits in English Language and Mathematics at the Senior School Certificate Level.

2.4 Mature Candidiates: (with interest in Law Enforcement/Security Experience must not be less than 30 years of age at the time application is made.

2.5 Personnel from the Security Services: Armed Forces, Police Services, Immigration, Customs, Prisons, Fire Service and Financial Institutions are particularly encouraged to apply through their organisations for sponsorship.

HOSTEL FACILIITIES are available for all applicants who require it.

3. DEGREES, DIPLOMAS AND CERTIFICATES TO BE AWARDED
Initially, four levels of courses are to be offered leading to the award of M. Tech., B. Tech., Diplomas and Certificates. These will be done in three main programmes, namely Police Practice (Policing), Correctional Services Management and Security Management. The details, including entry requirements for each course are as follows:

3.1 Police Practice
The Policing programme will award the following:
B. Tech.
National Diploma
National Higher Certificate
National Certificate

Entry Requirements:
3.1.1 National Certificate: G.C.E ‘O’ Level/SSCE and all ranks of Servicemen and Women (Police, Immigration, Customs, Prisons, Army, Fire Service) up to the equivalent of a Sergeant in the Police. Where a candidate without GCE O Level is to be admitted he or she will have to pass an entrance examination.

3.1.2 National Higher Certificate: One of the following:
National Certificate
G.C.E. ‘A’ Level or equivalent
Inspector and Chief Inspector or equivalent

3.1.3 National Diploma: One of the following:

National Higher Certificate
Degree (or Diploma) from a recognized university
A.S.P. or equivalent and above

3.1.4 B. Tech. (Policing) Sole Qualification (Requirement):
National Diploma

3.1.5 B. Tech. Forensic Investigation: Sole Qualification: National Diploma.
3.2 Security Management
The Security Management programme will award the following:
· B. Tech
· National Diploma
· National Higher Certificate
· National Certificate

Entry Requirements: Same as for Policing

3.3 Correctional Services Management
The Correctional Services Management programme will award the following:
· B. Tech.
· National Diploma
· National Higher Certificate · National Certificate

Entry Requirements: Same as for Policing

3.4 Scheme of Entry and Progression
The first three stages i.e. National Certificate, National Higher Certificate and National Diploma could be either terminal or non-terminal. A student may choose to stop at one stage or use each stage as a qualification (requirement) for entry into the next.
