Department of Internal Medicine & Therapeutics

The Department of Internal Medicine & Therapeutics provides clinical care for clients as well as teaching of medical students. All care is provided by faculty physicians and physicians from Ghana Health Service with support from Medical Officers assigned to the unit by the Medical Director of the Central Regional Hospital.
Prevention is emphasised in our extensive primary health care activities. We provide world-class modern clinical care. The team of experienced medical educators have been charged with maintaining a curriculum that prepares the providers for work in the Community.
