The University of Ghana Bookshop was established in 1948, when the University of Ghana was established then as the University College Of the Gold Coast.
Originally established to serve the University students and lecturers to facilitate academic work on campus, the services of the Bookshop soon grew beyond its original services. Not long after its establishment in 1948, the University Bookshop had begun serving customers from beyond the University Community.
The University Bookshop of the University of Ghana has, over these years, served several students, lecturers, researchers, readers, families and the general reading public in and beyond Ghana in providing quality and affordable reading, learning and researching materials/logistics.
With the lunching of this website, the Bookshop seeks to expand our services to a wider reading and researching public.
