Basic one Female Teacher adjudged 2017 National Best Teacher

The 2017 edition of the National Best Teachers Awards took place at the at Koforidua in the Eastern Region on Thursday October 5,to commemorate the World Teachers Day Celebration.

The purpose of the Award was to appreciate the Works of Teachers all over the country within the year under review.

This year’s edition saw Madam Faustina Cobson, a 41-years-old  teacher at the Richard Quaye Memorial School Abogbloshi, in Accra winning the over all Best Teacher within the year under review.

She won over two other contenders to win the 2017 Best National Best Teacher award .

As part of her package ,Madam Faustina Cobson is in line to receive a three bedroom house, Ghc50,000, plus life insurance from SIC insurance company.

The first runner up was Madam Agnes Nutakor.. Madam Nutakor teaches at the Kpeve Model School, In the Volta Region. She won Ghc110,000.

She was followed by Mr. Jospeh Agbotsa, who won the second runners up position. Mr. Joseph Agbotsa went away with a brand new car, Ghc20,000 and life insurance from SIC Insurance Company Limited.
